Contact Hours / Pharmacology

Barkley & Associates, Inc. is approved as a provider of nurse practitioner continuing education by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. AANP Provider Number 080518.This activity has been approved for 21.5 contact hours of continuing education (which includes 12.5 hours of pharmacology and 2 hours of advanced procedures).

A maximum of 43.5 contact hours of continuing education (which includes up to 16 hours of pharmacology and up to 24 hours of advanced procedures) may be obtained by attending Pre-Conferences and Workshops.

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 15436.

All NP state regulatory agencies (i.e., State Boards of Nursing) and all national certifying bodies (e.g., ANCC, AANP, AACN, PNCB, and NCC) recognize and accept AANP CE credit for recertification!

Conference Attire

We suggest wearing something comfortable and appropriate for a professional conference. The meeting rooms may get cold, so wearing layers or bringing a light sweater or jacket is strongly recommended.


Please note that attendance to NPAC 2020 constitutes agreement to be photographed. These images may be distributed by Barkley & Associates at any time for printed materials and/or advertisement.

Conference Material & Handouts

All attendees will have access to the electronic Conference Program Manual, which will be sent to the email address used to register for the conference. This link will be sent during the week leading up to the conference. If you purchased a printed conference manual, you will pick it up when you check in at the conference. We will have a limited number of additional printed manuals available for purchase onsite for $50. We will not be accepting cash transactions at the venue. Please download the Conference Program Manual in advance of the conference, as wireless access is not guaranteed in the meeting space. We recommend that you ensure your device has enough power to last the duration of the conference.

Name Badges

Attendees will receive their name badges upon check-in. Name badges must be worn for the entire duration of the conference, as they serve as an entrance ticket to the conference sessions and Exhibit Hall. If you lose your name badge during the conference, please go to the Help Desk for assistance. Replacement badges will incur a fee of $25.
